1. Put a pot of green tea daily
Buy tasty loose green tea at a local store or via internet , and get a nice teapot with tea egg at home.
Green tea has many positive effects on your body. As you can read in this article, green tea is good for different things. The substances in green tea prevent aging, help prevent heart problems, improve digestion, support fat burning and strengthen resistance.

2. Choose wholegrain products
A small effort and a big result. Replace as much processed grain products as possible for a wholemeal variety. Choose regular brown rice and exchange your white bread for brown bread, or preferably wholemeal bread.
Whole grain products contain more fiber than processed varieties. Fibers stimulate the metabolism, provide a longer feeling of satiety, have a positive effect on cholesterol and blood sugar levels and possibly help in the prevention of colon cancer. Moreover, wholemeal products usually contain more vitamins and minerals than processed variants.
Most people get too little fiber without them having it themselves. By choosing wholemeal products you increase your fiber intake in a simple way.
3. Move briefly to get warm
Do you often feel cold? Do not walk directly to the thermostat, but just get moving! For example, by jogging on the spot, or pressing a few times, you quickly get very hot.
Do not reach directly to a vest, a rug or the stove. Even while watching television, you can easily move around to get warm. Go crazy dancing, do some muscle training and make your heart beat faster.
Do you often get cold hands during computing? Then take a break regularly to move. It keeps your body warm, in shape and healthy. In addition, you significantly reduce the chance of RSI !
Regular exercise is healthy for your body. You keep your body supple and fit. By increasing your heart rate several times a day, you get some extra exercise and you feel better in your skin.
4. Put a fruit bowl on the coffee table
A little habit that does wonders. Do you eat too little fruit? Then put a nice fruit bowl on your coffee table, and fill it with ready-to-eat fruit such as mandarins, (washed) apples and for example grapes.
Because the fruit can be found on the coffee table you will soon eat something when you watch TV. If it stands for you, you are more likely to take it. This also applies to vegetables such as cherry tomatoes! Moreover, it is a good way to let (lazy) adolescents eat healthier.
Fruit is full of good substances for your body. Different types of vitamins, minerals, fibers and anti-oxidants can be found in all types of fruit. These substances help your body stay healthy. Now and in the future!
5. Place a jug of water on your desk
Do you think you should drink more water? Then make sure you have a good cup of water on your desk during your work. You do not drink a lot of water without knowing it. Before you know it you have drunk a whole tank of water!
By drinking enough water your body can better digest your food and dispose of waste. This keeps your liver healthy and all body cells well hydrated. In addition, you automatically drink fewer unhealthy soft drinks and sugary fruit juices. After all, you are far less thirsty!
